Orlando FL Attractions: Insider Mobility Information

Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is the happiest place on earth and the most visited vacation resort in the world. The property covers 25,000 acres, which includes 31 themed resort hotels, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, 4 golf courses, and numerous additional recreational and entertainment venues. All areas of the parks are fully inclusive to visitors with mobility issues, and all bus and tram routes are serviced by vehicles that can accommodate wheelchairs and mobility scooters (ECVs). Test

Many attractions feature a portable bench or similar device to assist guests with mobility issues in transferring from their wheelchair or mobility scooter to the ride. Other attractions allow you to remain in your wheelchair or scooter for the duration of the ride.

Parking for guests with disabilities is available throughout the resort. Scootaround provides wheelchair and scooter rentals year-round to Disney World visitors – call us today to book your rental!

Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando is the second largest resort in Orlando (after Disney World) and consists of two theme parks, a water park, a night-time entertainment complex, and seven hotels. All shopping and dining facilities are wheelchair accessible and the outdoor stage shows have areas reserved for guests with disabilities.

Certain attractions are capable of allowing guests to remain in their wheelchair or mobility scooter throughout. There are specific boarding requirements and accommodations for those using wheelchairs at each attraction. In all cases, if you are capable of transferring to the ride vehicle’s seating (either by yourself or with assistance of another person in your party), you may transfer.

Scootaround provides wheelchair and scooter rentals year-round to Universal Orlando visitors. Give us a call if you need to book a Universal Orlando scooter rental or wheelchair rental.

SeaWorld Parks and Resorts Orlando

SeaWorld Parks and Resorts consist of three parks including SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica. SeaWorld Orlando ranked as the 10th most visited amusement park in the United States and hosts over 4.6 million guests annually.

SeaWorld has a program in place to assist guests with disabilities. The Ride Accessibility Program (RAP) matches the individual requirements of each guest to the requirements of each ride. When enrolled in RAP, you will receive a list of popular rides and attractions, along with the requirements for riding each.

Scootaround can provide wheelchair and scooter rentals for SeaWorld Orlando visitors. Call us today to book your rental! The parks themselves also provide a limited supply of wheelchairs and mobility scooters (ECVs) for rent in the facility.
